2009 Elite Snooker League.

Due to an overwhelming response for 2008. In 2009, Elite Snooker league will have an "A Series" and a "B Series"..

A Series, will be players with a handicap of -15 or better.

B Series, will be players with handicaps of -15 or under..

Players under -15 will be eligible to play in the A Series.

If players handicap go up from -15 throughout the year in "B Series", they will be eligible to finish the year off..

I will be hoping for 10 teams in each series, no more than 10 teams will be accepted.. Teams from 2008 will get 1st preference. Play will commence at the start of February 2009.

So now is the time to start thinking about your teams in 2009.

I would like to thank everybody who participated in last years Elite Snooker League. In my first year as Tournament Director, I am very pleased how the year has unfolded. I subjected you all with new rules, regulations, and even dressed you up a bit.. All games were played in good spirit, and you were all a joy to work with. I would especially like to thank all Captains, who did a great job organising their teams and getting all entry fees in on time, which allowed me to pay out the total $5400.00 in prize money on the night of the final.. A big thanks must also go out to Jim Ruisi and Club Marconi Snooker & Billiards club, who without their help, this would not have gone ahead..
