2009 Elite Snooker League.
Commences 23rd Feb 2009.
Due to an overwhelming response for 2008. In 2009, Elite Snooker league will have an "A Series" and a "B Series"..
A Series, will be players with a handicap of -15 or better.
B Series, will be players with handicaps of -15 or under..
Players under -15 will be eligible to play in the A Series.
If players handicap go up from -15 throughout the year in "B Series", they will be eligible to finish the year off..
I will be hoping for 10 teams in each series, no more than 10 teams will be accepted.. Teams from 2008 will get 1st preference. Play will commence at the start of February 2009.

Per Series below
10 teams at $60 per team for 18 weeks = $10,800 plus $1500.00 in sponsorship per series, $3000.00 in Total.
$25 per week administration = $450
1st prize = $5400.00
2nd Prize = $3000.00
3rd & 4th Prize = $1450.00 per team
High Break Prize = $300
Player of the Series = $250.00
"Come play the best players in NSW". Last years League was run between 18th February - 30th June, and comprised of six teams, who played off for the $5000.00 in prize money. The League attracted some of the best players in Australia, including the current: Australian Open Champion, Australian National Champion, Oceania Champion, Australian U21 Champion, NSW State Minor winner, NSW State Open Champion, QLD Open Winner, and 7 of the top 32 in Australia....
Conditions of entry
1. There will be 10 teams eligible to play.
2. Each team will require 6 team members.
3. Each player will be required to pay $10 per night.
4. Each team will be required to make a $240 deposit, (8 x Team Shirts at $30ea)).
5. All clubs must use Aramith Tournament Champion snooker balls.
6. Tables must be swept or ironed before games commence.
7. Players are required to wear pants or trousers (no jeans or cargo) , and a Team Shirt provided by Elite Snooker.
8. Players are to be placed in order from lowest handicap to highest (best player plays last).
9. Play is to commence at 7:30pm, teams forfeit after 7:45.
10. Results are to be emailed, sms or phoned by home captain on the same night, 2 points will be deducted (per week) if no results by 12pm the next day.
11. Money is to be collected and deposited into bank account before weekend, or points will be deducted (per week).
12. Each player will play 2 frames, and will receive 1 point for each frame won.
13. Home teams are required to supply markers for each match.
14. Automatic Foul & Miss on first attempt, (unless opponent needs snookers).
15. Each Team is required to send in a team photo before 1st game.
16. Only Teams invited by Elite Snooker League are eligible to compete.
17. Team Captains must be over the age of 28 years.
18. All players must abide by all Elite Snooker and the Host Clubs Rules and Regulations.
19. All players must play at least 7 games to qualify for finals.
20. Any club that pulls out of competition will be required to finish off weekly payments, if not, clubs players will forfit any winnings, including High Break prize and Player of the Series. Clubs will also not be invited back to play..
21. Elite Snooker holds the right to change rules at any time.
